The Big Ten Conference – the oldest Division I collegiate athletic conference in the United States – is an association of world-class universities whose member institutions share a common mission of research, graduate, professional and undergraduate teaching and public service. The Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, a collaboration of cancer centers at Big Ten universities was created in 2013 to transform the conduct of cancer research through collaborative, hypothesis-driven, highly translational oncology trials. In 2014, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey joined the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, allowing our physicians and researchers to work collaboratively with peers at Big Ten universities to bring the most innovative care to our patients through cutting-edge clinical trials.
